Sirbaz Khan Mission To climb All 8000 m peaks
Pride of Pakistan Sirbaz Khan has raised the green flag on top of the world 8848 m at 6.05 am as part of his mission Everest was his 7th in pursuing 14 peaks. Sirbaz has summited 2×8000m peaks in the last 26 days. he summited Mount Everest just few days after he summited Annapurna 8,091 m on 26 April 2021. After his summit of Mount Everest, he announced to continue his quest and accomplish his streak to climb the remaining seven peaks above 8000 m and become the first Pakistani ever to achieve this feat.
Sirbaz Khan Pakistani mountaineer is aiming to become the first Pakistani to climb all 14 x8000 meters peaks. There are fourteen 8,000 meters peaks in the world. Five of them are in Pakistan and China , eight in Nepal include one in India, and one in China. In the sport of mountaineering, summiting these 14 peaks is considered as the biggest achievement.
Muhammad Ali Sadpara Pakistan's legendary mountaineer had a dream to achieve all fourteen peaks for Pakistan to make history. After many years of hard work, Muhammad Ali Sadpara was able to climb eight peaks. Sadpara is on a mission with Italian team to the first winter summit of K2 in 2021. continued their ascent to K2's summit, but did not return back and were declared missing on 5 February 2021. On 18 February 2021, Pakistani authorities announced that the three men were officially presumed dead.
In order to carry on this mission, now the Pakistani nation is looking at Sirbaz Khan. In 2019, Sirbaz became the first Pakistani to summit Mount Lhotse, the world’s fourth highest mountain at 8,516 m in Nepal and border China without the use of supplementary oxygen. In 2021, Sirbaz became the first Pakistani to summit Mount Annapurna 8,091 m and raised the green flag on Annapurna. His other 8,000 m peak summits include K2, Nanga Parbat, Broad Peak, Manaslu, Lhotse and Anapurna.
